RICHARD D. CORDOVA joined Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in 2005 as President and Chief Executive Officer, after more than three decades of accomplishment as a healthcare executive at hospitals and healthcare systems in California, including President of the Southern California Region for Kaiser Permanente. Mr. Cordova serves on the board of numerous hospital associations in California, and is a founding member and first chair of the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives. Mr. Cordova has been recognized for his leadership by top publications, including Hispanic Business magazine, which selected him as one of America’s “Top 100 Most Influential Hispanics” in 2005; and most recently, the Los Angeles Business Journal, which selected him as “CEO of the Year” in April 2011.

MARGARET & DAVID MGRUBLIAN have been avid supporters of Mothers’ Club for more than a decade. David was born and raised in Pasadena. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College with undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science, and went on to earn his MBA from Harvard Business School. He joined IDS Real Estate Group in 1992. As CEO, he overseas its Real Estate Services, Corporate Services, and Advisor divisions. David is a trustee of Claremont McKenna College; former board chair of Westridge School and St. Mark’s School; and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Urban Development/Mixed-Use Council.

Margaret was born in Yerevan, Armenia. Her family immigrated to the United States in 1966. She earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University at Northridge. Margaret is currently on the Southern California Regional Council of the Armenian Assembly of America and on the board of the Armenian International Women’s Association. She is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Pasadena Women’s Civic League.
